Who I am:
I'm a professional photographer and artist, and have been working in the publishing and creative arts field for 15 years. I have worked in many areas of the photography field, and have a large stock library of images that are used for articles, books, layouts, cards and other creative items. I have authored many articles for photography and papercrafts magazines, including 4 years at My Reflections magazine, and 1 year at Scrapbooking Memories magazine. My photographs are also featured on a range of scrapbooking and papercraft products.
My scrapbooking and papercraft projects have been featured in numerous publications, including adverts, manufacturer websites and trade show displays. I welcome opportunities to work with publishers and manufacturers to create items for future publication or display. I enjoy using a variety of products, and I'm always open for opportunities to work on new and exciting projects! What I do:
My photography style is very eclectic. I work regularly with still life, travel and portraiture, in both colour and black & white. While I love digital photography, there is still something about the pure magic of my black and white darkroom, so I tend to swing on both sides of the traditional and digital fields. My creative layouts, cards and other items are often a mixture of photography, stamping, and art techniques. Sometimes simple, sometimes detailed, my work varies depending on the products or techniques being used. I love using rubber stamps, and tend to use them somewhere in a lot of my work. I enjoy trying out new ideas, and often up to my elbows in paint and ink to create the look I'm after, and loving every minute of it!
