About Me:
I was born in Illinois, raised in New York, went to college in North Carolina, and for the past 9 years have been living with my husband, Jim, in the beautiful California Bay Area.  By day I am an Engineering Manager for a high tech company in the Silicon Valley, and by night I am an avid Scrapbooker, Stamper, and Paper Crafter.  I have been a collector of memorabilia all my life, started scrapbooking over 5 years ago, and quickly expanded into card making and other paper crafting areas.  For me scrapbooking is a great way to release the stress of my day job while at the same time creating treasured memories that will be passed down to future generations.

Objective:
My objective is to work as a freelance artist, design team member, and/or creative designer for a manufacturer or publisher in the scrapbooking and crafting industry. I am interested in creating layouts, paper crafts projects, and writing technique based "how-to" articles that showcase a product or technique to inspire others to create their own works of art.

Styles & Techniques:
I enjoy working with a wide range of materials, and I am well versed in many leading edge techniques.  While my style is flexible, common characteristics of my work include a focus on balance, texture, techniques, and details.  No matter what the project or assignment my scrapping always comes from the heart.  I love to capture both the defining moments and everyday moments in the lives of my loved ones.
