Objective: I am  seeking design work from both publishers and manufacturers.  It is my goal to provide well thought out, well designed artwork that inspires others to create to their fullest potential as well as keep their precious family memories in a beautiful format.   By providing inspiration for others it is my goal that your company and it's products will benefit as well in growth of sales and recognition.  I expect to achieve this through regular publication in magazines and idea books as well as design team participation and teaching.  I welcome assignments for scrapbook layouts, cards, home decor, and altered pieces.   I enjoying teaching and sharing my techniques and knowledge with others.

Styles & Techniques:
I am a very detail oriented designer.  I sketch each project fully before creating it.  My style is warm and comfy... pull up a chair and relax while you peruse my designs, please.  Shabby chic and romantic styles with a pinch of the unexpected and a good story to tell sum it up pretty well.  I believe in scrapbooking real life including the not so perfect photographs.  I believe in creating altered items and home decor that truly has a function as well as aesthetic value.  Patterned paper and 3-d elements are all important parts of my designs.  I am very technique oriented and love to take my supplies to the next level.  I have a faux finish and mural painters background.  I have worked at manipulating many of those techniques into scrapbook safe mediums.  I have had numerous designs picked up for publishing since I began submitting my artwork in November 2006.

I have been a part of numerous local scrapbook store design teams and taught weekly and monthly classes at these stores, too.  Unfortunately due to the hurricanes we have experienced over the past several years all of the local stores have since closed their doors.  I currently do design/product samples for Embellish It!, an online and travelling store, using Basic Grey new releases.
