Objective:

My ultimate goal is to enjoy doing what I love the most, SCRAPBOOKING... and one day hopefully start my own business (online or other) doing this wonderful craft!!  I hope to one day be a well-known, published scrapbooker in all the top magazines!!  I would also LOVE to be on a Design Team for a well-known scrapbook manufacturer!!  What a fun job that would be!!

I am currently a Designer for a couple of different monthly kit clubs and am LOVING it!!

I maintain a blog dedicated to the 8-1/2 x 11 scrapper... The Rectangle Rocks.  You should definately check it out, some awesome work there!!  Lots of cool ideas for the 8-1/2 x 11 "rectangle" scrapper!!

Visit my personal scrap blog here... As Alecia Scraps.

I also maintain a fairly new blog dedicated to the 6 x 12 scrapper... Halfway There Scrappin'.  Such a FUN. new scrapping size that I just LOVE!!

Styles & Techniques:

I don’t really know if I have a “style” as each layout or project I do is so different, depends on my mood I guess.  My style has been described as Funky & Fun!!  I do know that I am willing to try anything on my scrapbook layouts and projects!!  I have an ever changing style that shows with each new project I make!!  I've even found myself checking the weirdest places to find embellishments and such, even my junk drawers at home!!  You never know what you'll find there...

       About Me

My name is Alecia and I live in Houston, TX with my husband, two step-children and two Cocker Spaniels. I became instantly addicted when a friend of mine turned me on to the WONDERFUL world of Scrapping about 4-5 years ago. I’ve always done some sort of crafting, and the background has really come in handy with scrapbooking. The knowledge of “other” craft-related products really helps to broaden my horizons when choosing embellishments and such!!  I also enjoy the altered items area of scrapbooking... I've altered composition books, school pencil boxes, paint cans, checkbook covers, date books, paper bag albums, cd and dvd tins, junk mail and more...  These projects are a BLAST!
